Dialogue in bronze.
The same counterparts, cast in bronze: couples on the plinth, musicians listening to one another. Alongside them, the other bronzes from the studio.
Every bronze begins as a clay model in the studio in Selva. It is cast at the foundry; patina and gilding I decide together with them. That is how works come about that can stand outdoors and still carry the carver’s hand — the notched surface, the gilded caps and hands.

How is a bronze by Roland Perathoner made?
First Roland Perathoner models the figure in clay. The foundry takes a mould from it and casts the bronze. Patina and gilding are agreed together; individual parts such as caps or hands are often heightened with gold leaf.
Are the works of the “Dialogue” series also made in wood?
Yes. The “Dialogue” series is made in walnut and Swiss stone pine and partly in bronze. The wooden works are on the “Dialogue Wood” page.
A bronze for your place?
Bronzes are also made to commission — as a unique piece or a small edition, for a house, a garden or a square in the village.
